Unhappy windshield glass

Got hit by a stone in the windshield yesterday. Does anyone know where I can get a windshield for a '77 911?

Thanks Ron! I already looked there. Any other ideas?

You are going to have to wait until Monday. I assume that any place is going to have to order it for you.

I would start by giving our hosts at Pelican a call. They should be able to come up with a number of suppliers.

As a second option (for information) you can call Auto Glass Plus which is very familiar with Porsche glass. Obviously Brad won't drive up there (as they are in Huntington Beach) but they will most likely be able to point you in the correct direction and tell you what to look out for. (714) 891-0842

Check with your insurance co. as some cover windshield damage.
I put a PPG tinted glass in my SC and it should be the same as your 77. If your rubber seal hasn't been replaced recently get a new one. I went with a German seal and it's been fine.
Another option with the rubber seal is to use the later model style that doesn't use the metal trim, IF you don't want the trim that is.

I puchased one off of ebay from a guy in Ohio, it came very professionally crated up and the shipping was quite reasonable. He seems to have them for sale on ebay quite regularly. Good luck.
