Bling!!!

Picked up my chromed fan and fanhousing yesterday...

Whadda ya think?













The pics don't really do it justice. It's hard to shoot with a flash. I'll try shooting some pics this afternoon in daylight.

Nice! That should significantly increase the air flow as the surface roughness of the blades and housing is decreased.

Just make sure you use a new belt on that chrome fan and it is adjusted properly. The chrome finish will make it easier for the belt to slip on the surface.

Looks great, now you have to keep it clean, actually it may decrease the airflow, you may have to add little vortex generators? which would look kool.

Along the same lines, we need someone to make an entire fan out of carbon fiber. It would cost a butt-load, but it would rule.
