Calling seat police

I came across these at a sale. Iwas wondering if they can be identified. They were so cheap that I bought them. I guess some old lady's now deceased husband had a Porsche and they were cleaning out his stuff.

a bit ragged, but i bet you could get $1500-$2000 as is, and quite a bit more if you repaired the covers. the headrests are generic early 911.

Narrow centers on the backs look like 70-73, if that's basketweave in the centers, you can narrow it down to 70-71.

I just sold mine that were in a little better shape for $2000 and the buyer was very happy to be getting them for that price. He's on this board and deserved them, I didn't ever advertise them. I just got a hold of him and said here's the deal.

Yours will go for similar money.

Well, I never go to tag sales anymore...alll I ever saw was china dogs and velvet Elvis paintings! Glad to see you made out. They are indeed early sport seats and are quite sought after. Clean them up and/or do some refurbishing and you will do very well.

So, kill us all here....what'd ya pay? (The cats already out of the bag...we just want to know the color of it! )

OK, so lets see some pic's of the other seat and take some shots of the bottom of the bases and will tell you exactly what you have , and needless to say they are early sport seats

everything appears to be there except the one headrest, they don't have double locking sliders so they are 69 to 71 style sport seats, I'd say based on what I can see in the pictures they would have to be redone so about 2,000 although I have seen people pay more, when stuff shows up on e-bay these days all it takes are two guys that just got to have them and people start bidding crazy money.
