Exhaust backdate and emission?
I tried to find the answer to this in the archives but found no joy.
Has anyone actually backdated the exhaust (ssi etc) and passed emission test? Here we have to test but they don't do any visual so as long as it passes the sniff test...

Yup...I have. Best to put it on an exhaust analyzer prior to going in...On my 3.0 I had to lean it out a bit. My 3.6 needed some serious tweeking...

Mine will pass in NC (sniffer)
All I am required is the visual but did the sniffer for the hell of it. Didn't pass with by large margins but I didn't do any tweaking either. Passing visual this year was kinda tough.
