Need shop info ASAP-Central Pa/Hershey

Driving back from Central Pa Region AX yesterday, my 3.2 died in Fredricksburg (Rt 22 near 78 entrance). Was able to get a rollback off of the highway to a shop, but they don't speak German car. Need a decent independent mech or even dealership.

Might be something simple as a DME relay, car just switched off and wouldn't refire, but I didn't have any diagnostic equip. w/ me.

Greg,

I believe Hershey is relatively close to Lancaster.

If so try these recommendations:

PPI in Lancaster PA

Got it. I thought you were on the road now. I just north of Harrisburg on my way back to Chester County.

I've got a spare DME and coil if you want to try it. Send me a PM and I'll forward my number.

Appreciate that. I'll let you know. Found a guy out that way that has enough familiarity with these cars to at least troubleshoot it.

Suspect its something either heatsoak or vibe related-it was as if the car was switched off, no roughness etc. Was decel for a light, and didn't even notice it quit until I passed thru neutral on a d/s.
