Question '72 911 Oil Lines

I'm going to be installing a '71 911 T motor in my '72 911 T coupe. My question is, what oil lines are exclusive to the '72 model due to the different oil tank location and what, if any oil lines are common between the two years? I'm planning to install my '72 oil cooler on the motor after I have it cleaned properly, and that oil line is still on the car, but I'm not sure what other oil lines I may still need. Any input and especially pics or diagrams would be very helpful. Thanks!

Both lines to and from the motor are unique to 72'. Keep both lines and attach them to the 71' motor after the 72' oil cooler is installed.

I have the line that goes to the cooler, but not the line that goes to the fitting on top of the motor. It looks like that line just clamps on both ends as well, is that correct? Does anyone know if any of these lines are still available from Porsche or if anyone makes an aftermarket part?

The PO on my 72T did the same thing with a 71S, I don't have the first hand info but if you need pics let me know.

If you could shoot me a couple pics of the oil lines that would be a huge help. I think I only need the line from the tank to the crankcase breather, but I'm not positive. Thanks Doug!

My 72 has a 3.0, my PO put in an oil tank/thermostat etc. from a late model (78 I guess like the motor). The oil fill is now back in the engine compartment.

I never run over 180, even when I was in AZ and it was 105 I only notched pass 190.

I can take some pics this weekend for ya, I am working offsite till friday.

Porsche Head. Thanks, I had thought about putting a different year tank in, but I'm sticking with the '72 tank. I think Doug's going to take some pics when he has a chance. Thank you for the offer.

I'll try and get these tonight. We had a left over hurricane yesterday, so I've been draing water from the crawlspace.

Thanks Doug! Sorry to hear about the water problems. It's no big rush.
