Ferraris on Speed Channel tonight

The schedule calls for the Montery Historics - 50 years of Ferrari tonight at 7:00 central, which I guess would be 8 or 9 on the coast........dunno for sure if the schedule is right...

Thanks for the heads up. Redmond in the 908 was superb. Also seen in the program were an RSK and an RS 60, one of my favs. Of course, the Gulf 917 was pretty neat, especially after my visit to see the 'new' one featured in Excellence.

Yeah, and I almost cried when Mike Malone put two wheels off in his 910, and was heading for the concrete wall.

He was VERY lucky to avoid that wall.

(here are some pics of that 910, if anyone is curious)

Sweet...the 908, T70, 512, 917 and 910 all on track at the same time. I wish I'd been there in person but I wasn't, so thanks to Speed for airing it!

Very disappointed they didn't say one thing about that Kroymans guy wrecking his Ferraris. Maybe Ferrari told Speed not to talk about it.

Where was the split in two F1 car? Interesting no mention was made of it in the show.

Thank you. I have seen it spelled both ways and I really didn't pay attention. When I was wrenching on an F5000 team, I knew the man to say hello, but that's about it. He was king. To this day, I have never had to write his name. Now I know.

Yeah, I noticed that. Probably because Ferrari gave permission to use the name and footage of some of their stuff and, at the same time, said leave that part out.
