Wiring Diagrams for '79 930 & more
Where/can I go to get detailed wiring diagrams/schematics for my '79 930? My current need is for the headlight circuits/switches/fuses, but would like an entire vehicle electrical schematics/diagrams for future projects/repairs.
Also, searching our host's site, the "911 Turbo Factory Spec Book (1978-81)", Factory Parts Diagram for Turbo, and "Porsche 911 Turbo (1976-89)..." workshop manual are no longer available. I know I need to invest in manuals if I plan on really wrenching on this car myself. But I don't know what to get or where to look. Is there another source for the factory books - and are they worth the cost if available? Would the "Porsche 911 SC Service Manual, by Bentley Publishing, 911 SC (1978-83)" be beneficial, even though it's for the SC & not Turbo? Or, is there a better solution? btw, I do have (and cherish ) "101 Projects for Your Porsche 911"Advise and opinions appreciated! Thanks, Skip

I know it is not always safe to assume, but with the exception of the turbo specific wiring (if there is any other than the boost gauge) I think these diagrams should help along with the Bentley SC Manual 911 Electrical Diagrams

Skip, I have a set of the factory turbo manuals. I'm in Dallas. You might talk me into lending them to you if you give me a ride in your Turbo. Give me a call. (972)248-2931
