That guy can drive!! That may not have been the fastest way around the track with the tail sliding, but damn it was cool! I imagine that's what it would look like if Peter Solberg drove a Ruf CTR at the 'ring!
:D |
That's a keeper :D

I don't know how's driving but he has guts.

The guy driving the car, Stefan Roser, is Ruf's test driver and Sales Manager.
Do a "Search", plenty of info on the RUF Faszination's video. SmileWavy |

Is that video for real? Some of it looks speeded up and when you play it on media player at 0.8 X speed it seems more 'natural'.
|
Ya, I heard somewhere that his nickname is "Sideways Stefan". Not necessarily the fastest way around the 'Ring, but certainly the most fun way! I really need to buy that DVD...
|
I never get tired of watching that. :)
|
bought that a long time ago from Big Daddy's videos and have watched it numerous times. needs more exterior shots but there are some that are like he drew the arc with a compass. amazing stuff.

My favorite part is when he gets airborne enough for the tires to chirp at close to 180 mph.
That and the 70+ mph power slide. How'd you like to have him drive you around in a ring taxi? |
Lots more Porsche videos here. Mostly commercials but some good stuff. Look for part one of the video that started this thread.

I'm curious to know what his lap time was?

That's the most awesome video I have ever seen! I want that car!
|
Alright, I'm impressed. I'll be the first to admit that the driver of that car has a bigger sack than I do.
