Fishcop,
Here's a little better picture:

It's a Mallory bypass regulator - however I'm getting ready to swap it out for the Holley 1-4 PSI version. The Mallory is rated for 3-12psi and so the adjustment is almost all the way screwed out to keep the pressure near 3.5 PSI. I'm going with the Holley so that the desired pressure is in the heart of the regulator's operating range. I'm also going to plumb the system so that the fuel flows in a continuous loop through both carbs prior to entering the regulator. This will allow the constant flow of cool fuel through the carbs - just an added benefit where I live in So. Texas (HOT!).

Charlie:
What bracket did you use to secure the muffler to the engine mount?? I'm talking about the bracket that the muffler band go around.

J.P.

J.P.,

There is a small bracket that attaches to the crank pully cover via a couple bolts. It has a couple of 'ears' that the muffler bands go around and help sinch the muffler to the engine.

Charlie:
Is it a 73-74 part or a late model part # (SC or Carrera)?
Thanks,
J.P.

This is an 82 SC engine. The bracket was installed from the factory.

Don't know if the earlier cars had a different type bracket.

I borrowed Paul Brewer's image for a quick question as my car is of the same vintage. Can someone please tell me the "official" names or part numbers for these two hoses. My are totally shot...

Thanks

Thanks.

Big Rubber:
Ok, here goes. These are the parts I used to back date my 3.2 with SSI exhaust.
Dizzy side heat duct modified by the Master John Walker:

This shot shows the stock part and John's modified duct:

Here's the passenger side all metal duct (early one piece type):

iInside shot:

Rear engine tin with OEM duct hole covered:

Side valve tin, replacing one piece unit with two piece type (this isn't needed for pre 84 911 w/3.2):

You wil notice I moved the O2 sensor grommet closer to the location were it mounts on the SSI.
Final look on 3.2 w/o A/C:

Hope this makes sense.
Regards,
J.P.
