Good tire shop in Seattle Area? Someplace that won't mess up rims?
Ideally a place that has good no touch equipment (you know like top line Hunter stuff) AND good/careful staff.
I had a place that I thought was pretty good, until they left some small scratches on some painted wheels (near the valve steam from the metal end of the air hose of all things) last time I went there. I'm not feeling the love there, so it's time to move on. |

I had very good service from Group2 in Interbay (between Queen Anne and Magnolia). They did a fabulous job of mounting and balancing a set of freshly anodized rims from Al Reed. Not one scratch. (206) 378-0900

Omni brake and alignment in Kirkland gets my vote. They've mounted several sets of Porsche tires for me, and never an issue.

I'm not certain of places on the Eastside, but I've used Discount Tire in the South Seattle area before, for mounting Tire Rack rubber on my Fuchs. They broke one of the valve stem supports on one occassion, but no other problems in many mountings over the years.
