Question Sunroof Alu air deflector, how to polish?

Has anyone found a way to get the Alu shiny again? I've tried polishing by hand, no luck. What kind of polish, or metal cleaner, can you recommend? Thanks.

the deflector is easily removed. It comes apart easily. A buff pad and polishing package and it's a wham bang. Pelicanhead cooper just did a post on polishing his bare Fuchs. He used a drill and adapted pad at low rpm.

Gunter, I have this very same question. I have been planning on doing this the past few weeks. I was going to use a buffing wheel and mothers aluminum polish. First hit it with light sand paper.

Let me know what you use and how it comes out.
