Blank wiring plugs?
Is a there a source to purchase plug ends for making up new wiring harnesses?
Cheers

Eg... I have a set of TRE's R taillights and would like to wire them up to the current harness without cutting/piggybacking.

Patience! You think we have all these part numbers memorized?
A six pole connector set (with one male and one female piece) with molded in pigtail wiring harnesses has the OEM part number: 901.612.330.00. Pelican apparently can get them (special order) for what appears to be US$134.90 per set! Note the wire colors may not exactly match what is currently in your car. I do believe you only need the female side so perhaps just that part can be ordered at reduced cost; you may consider sending Pelican Parts an e-mail and inquiring about that option. Given the expense you may want to try and locate some used female connectors from a salvaged chassis. These connectors are somewhat protected from the weather and sometimes can be cleaned up and reused. Cheers, Jim

Thanks Jim! I think you are right though... I might check out some wreckers. I take it Porsche was the only manufacturer to use these particular wire ends?

The 14 pin ones for the engine are available at dealers. Is that what you want?

I think the ones I'm after are 6 pin (round) for the rear tail lights.

One easy and cheap way is to get a bag 1/4" male spade connectors and solder them to the end of the wires of the taillights. These will now connect to the wire ends that are on the factory harness, they are 1/4" female spade connectors.Slip some shrink wrap over the connectors to seal them up. Now you can go forth and back with just slitting the shrink wrap off.
