I just picked up a set of16" by 8" and 9" BBS rs three piece wheels. One of the wheel halves was majorly curbed and bent.
Who sells these wheel halves? Is this a repair I can do myself? I'm assuming it only involves unbolting the halves and replacing the bad half with a new gasket and sealant. Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks in advance. Ted Thomas NoVa Dorki |

It depends on what wheels you have. BBS discontinued some of their 16" halves a while ago. Try Bob Woodman tires. They have a large selection of used ones. You will need a new sealing kit as well. I also run a bead of silicone around the joint after the wheel is assembled as an extra precaution

My Gottis supposedly use stretch bolts which are good for one time use. You also have to be sure that the bolts are torqued very evenly.
