Drove a Carrera GT last night...
I was sitting at the bar in a local restaurant when a friend walked in. He said, "Hey! I got my new car. Want to see it?"
We went out to the parking lot and there was a brand new jet black Carrera GT! First impression? It looks like a big, angry Boxster on steroids. Crouched low, sinister. All business. The seats look like Recaro Pole positions with headrest detail. The shifter is way up on the console. Nice! Huge aluminum billet pedals and carbon fiber everywhere. The gauge cluster and wheel look like standard Carrera issue. The motor sounds like an F1. Beautiful exhaust note. I only drove this beast in the parking lot (big and empty), and I never got past second gear, but what a machine! As my friend pulled out of the lot, he hit it hard. Wow! The car shook it's butt from side to side then took off like a rocket. We are going to get together next month for a quick drive. I'll post pictures.

![]() I think he just likes the fact that I'm so enthusiastic about his toys. Also, I knew almost as much about the Carrera GT as he did. Usually, all he hears is "Nice car. Is it a Porsh?"

That's really cool. I know if I had a car like the C-GT, I'd let all my friends who know how to drive stick and have an appreciation for something like that drive it.

That's awesome that you got to sit behind the wheel of one of those beasts. I hope I get the chance to do that, but the C GT might intimidate me but be very exciting at the same time
