Sitting motor new carbs ready to fire up?

i have a 1972 2.4T that came out of running car about 6-7 years ago. i turned frequently and turns nice by hand, have new cap, rotor, plugs, wires.
Anyone have any suggestions to do before i try to start. i know that on an old 356 motor that i acquired i put some marvels in and let sit for 2-3 days turned by hand a few times and put plugs and stuff in and it started up with some tweaking. Hoping this 2.4 is the same.

Where do you stand on the oil in there? Did you put new oil in? Do you have the correct level in there? Other than that, should be good to try. Keep a fire extinguisher handy.
