where to send Motronic ECU for rebuild?

Ive got an 84 Carrera that I suspect the Brain is Bad. Any suggestions on where to send for a rebuild?

Bill,

Any other 911 of the approx year in your area? If so, pull yours out and try it in their car to troubleshoot.

There are other types of DME brains that may work, have heard or seen on this board that some BMW or other cars may work or as Jack said contact Loren and go from there.

As suggested, try and locate a test unit before concluding a bad DME unit.
Pelican Parts has many rebuilt parts and sources for them, many of which
are not shown on the web site. Also, they can have parts tested.
