Joe, The holes in the targa bar are where the two handles attach. This is what tightens the upper bar. I would remove the rear panel to make certain those bumps are indeed the mounting points. You will also need to look for the mounting points where the targa bar meets the body. You may have to remove the stainless cover on the outside and the inner padding to locate this. I have picture somewhere of this mount. Let me see if I can find them.

...oh yeah mark, one more dumb question...how do you get the tenax fasteners in the body for the boot? regular drill? super glue? (just kidding)

I think you do have to drill...I have not done this part of the project yet...I think original fit interiors has them...I am sure it is pretty simple

(can anyone teach me that trick where you post a link and then rename the link to say "link" or "click here")

Joe--
the trick is pretty easy; describing it may not be, but here goes.

Modify your link to read {URL=your link} INSERT YOUR COMMENT {/url}

Instead of the { } brackets I've shown above, use [ ] - voila - commentary in your URL link

Joe's eBay link

ok, so i went home at lunch (i know, i am a little excited) and took some pics. Take a look. It appears as if the trim around the base of the window is actually an insert that covers the gap from the original soft window trim (i think). Do you see what I mean? The piece that holds the luggage brackets doesn't go far enough and I think when the PO swapped for glass the shop just stuck this in. Look closely at the other pics, see those bumps where the hook eyes are? I gotta believe that those are the mounts (or a mirage?). This must be a former soft window car? no? Final thoughts before I pull trigger?

and thanks for the trick steve.
