Torsion bar splines 40/44 formula?

It there a formula for the amount of lowering you will get for one spline diff on the outer compared to one on the inner. For incremental changes is there a recommended difference? one down(lower) inner and two up(higher ride) on the outer for the fractional changes in ride height?

thanks,

9 deg change in spring plate for the outer splines.
8 deg 10 sec on the inner spine
50 sec difference between them should result in about 1mm change in ride height at hub.

I think you mean "minutes"...60 "minutes" to one "degree"

The one up/ one down difference of 50 minutes has been quoted as being something like 7-9 mm ride height difference.....not 1.

Right?

OOPs. Yep, calculator gives 7mm ride height assuming about 20" arc length.

Arc is 18.5".....yer talkin to the spring-plate-angle calculator guy...

I know who did all that math. Thanks a bunch. It has been helpful many times. I just guessed at the arc-length.

just playin'..... :)
