ok, so I just pulled the wheel off and my collapsible spare is on.
The phone dial is bent (squared off slightly at point of impact) and the tire has a sidewall puncture. I was hoping to ride out the phone dials for a little while before upgrading, but now am faced with repair or replacement of a wheel I don't really want to keep long-term. But, I also don't have the budget ready for the new wheels/tires. Anyone have a 15X7 phone dial you're looking to unload cheap? Craig |
Craig, sorry to hear of your flat. Post a wtb on the classified section. You will likely get a better response. They should sell cheap. You may even find a set of 15x7 fuchs for not much more money. just swap the tires over to the new wheels. You can check ebay too. Sometimes you can find singles for almost no money.

thanks - was just over at ebay. There are some, but most are marked as for 944's - I'm not sure of the offset of my wheels.
I assume they are OEM, but maybe not. A PO may have swapped them out. I have 15x6 in front and 15x 7 in rear - was that a standard configuration? I'm going to search for that information, but anyone knows the spec for an 84 with 15 inch phone dials off the top of their head, I'd be interested. Thanks, Craig |
Here are wheel dimensions. Bill V has a spreadsheet near the bottom of pg 1.
