The car will be in Ohio, but if I can get out of bed in time I'll be there. I'm satying in Marina Del Rey and I estimate a 35 minute drive. I have a committment downtown around 10 so I probably can't make the run. However, I'd love to get some shots and meet some of the guys.

You don't know how tempted I am. Especially with the current owner willing to let me pay him over a short period of time. But I just bought the truck(2000 Dodge Dakota Sport), I really need to find some land and put a roof over my head(I'm thinking a minimum of 300K), and my oldest daughter has fallen in love the 356 in shop and has dropping hints(like OOOOOOOO buy me one PLEEEEEASE ), and the shop needs a huge injection of cash, so a 911 for dad is just not in the cards right now.

...not to hijack this thread but it's Bugfest on Sat. @ Santa Anita -gate 6(KRTH), NO rice to be found-some deadheads though. The group Fab Four are an early understudy of the Beatles, right down to their Gretsch guitars. It's a few hours of fun, festival seating on the grass--get in free in a VW !
