SEMA in Las Vegas open to public?
Is the SEMA show in Las Vegas open to the general public or do you have to be in the industry to attend?

I attended as an member of the industry. It's not hard to get credentials, but you do have to have an 'association' with a SEMA member or consumer of the products. This could be a tire shop (as was my case), auto parts store or specialty tool rep, to name a few possibilities. I'm not sure of the cost of a badge nowadays.

Registration/ badges are still being accepted ( you will need an industry contact though) up thru Oct.22, ' 04. Then you can will- call your entry badge there at the show. See Sema.org. The show is spotlighted this year with Ford's new '05 Stang & GT, and possibly the intro of the new Boxster coupe--"Autoweek" said that it will be introduced in the "City of Lights" (L.V. ??).
We will have a couple of interesting P car parts at our exhibit #20610/MSDSinc. Pelicans are welcome !

Milt, for the small booth size that we use (10 x 10) , we are allotted 4 badges. We have a total of 15 associates ( tech, sales, sponsers, etc.) now badged that will be helping to man the exhibit all week. The add'l badges were $10.00 ea. SEMA org advises that exhibitors keep their staff below this #...so I think we are maxxed ! PM me for next years show if you're bud can't get you in ...

![]() I understand about the allotment. They have a huge crowd as it is. And, they need room for hundreds, if not 1000's, of buyers. air-cool-me, if you know the owner of the franchise, I sure he could set you up as a "buyer." Last edited by Zeke; 10-13-2004 at 05:29 PM.. |
