Fan Belt Sweak

I replaced my fan belt this summer. Now that it has cooled down cosiderably, once in a while, usually during a goose of the throttle while backing into the garage, the belt is sweaking. Do I need to tighten or loosen the belt with the spacers?

Thanks

tighten the belt, move some shims to the outside of the pulley half.
