Question will 16" fuchs fit a 77' narrow body?

Will these wheels and tires fit on a 1977 narrow body S?

16" by 6" Fuchs Tires - 205/50/16

16" by 7" Fuchs Tires - 225/50/16

I've got a potential buyer for my fuchs and he's concerned about rubbing.

Any clearance issues?

Mike

I have 16x6's and 7's with 205/55/16 all around on my '71. Needed to roll the fender lips in the rear. Still rubs some up in the fender well.

225 in the back will be a tight fit..might have to roll and stretch the fender...I had 205 on all four corners.

I have 16x6's with 205/55/16s at all 4 corners on a 77 911S. No problems at all. I think the 225's on 16 x 7 in the rear would be a promblem, Jerry

Cool

6X16's all way around. You can get 7's in the rear when you use the offset to the inside however, I don't know of anything in the 16's that will do that. There are some special offset 7X15's that will do that.

Good luck,
David Duffield

Tight fit but can be done. Generally needs upgraded t bars and anti roll bars to make it work. Rolling of the fenders may be needed, but all depends on the car.
