Can you home-repair a scuff in the clear on Cup IIs
Want to sell a set of Cup IIs. They are flawless except for this scuff that only goes into the clear, but deep enough that you couldn't just polish it out.
Before going at it with a low-speed Dremel and some poly, anyone have recommendations on how to fix this? ![]()

If it won't disappear with a quick spray coat of clear, you might be in for some work. If it will, I would lightly scuff up the surrounding areas and carefully fill the damage with clear fingernail polish, let dry and sand with 600. Then blend the general area with a quality rattle can. Let dry and polish.

Thanks Milt, I'll practice this on a Boxster wheel to start.
