Don't know much about the chip, but i do know that you better be buying the "good stuff" at the pump station.

I've only run 93 octane. Other than a pulsating idle the car runs great. especailly above 4K

Arigato Means "Thank you, And May Deflation Rule Your Continent, Also..."

Good news is, that prices go continually down!

Bad news is, the stock market goes down for 20 years!

Yes it is. In retrospect probably a bad name for a Porsche web forum. After 8 years of German language and 3 Porsches, 2 Mercedes and a BMW you'd think I could come up with a better user name. How about "ausgezeichnet" for the feeling I get every time I drive this car. Heck, I even feel that just walking up to the car before I even get in.

Is there any way to change your user name with out loosing your post count. I've tried but can't find a way to do it.

Your chip is from Europroducts and I believe it's almost identical to a Weltmeister. Contact Steve Wong at www.911chips.com and he can verify this information. That chip will have a fairly radical change to the maximum ignition advance, beyond what most are comfortable with. You'd be a lot better off with one of Steve's chips - way better performance overall, especially in the midrange, and much safer for the engine. I had that same chip in my Carrera before I bought Steve's chip and there's a big difference. BTW, Pelican sells Steve's chips.

Wavey,

Thanks. I've read a lot of good things about Steve's chips.

E-mail PP. I think they will change your name for you. They did for me.
