oil leaking from air filter housing?
Hello, I have massive amounts of oil coming from a spigot on the bottom of the air filter housing. Can anybody explain this? Is there a small hose that I'm missing or what?
Thanks, Joe |

You have two problems (at least that are apparent from this post!). The first is that you have oil going into your air filter housing through the oil tank breather. This is usually caused by having too much oil in the system. You can do a search about oil level checking so I'm not going to go into that here. The second problem is that you are missing the tube that goes on the bottom of the air filter housing and drains the oil onto the ground where it belongs.

Car must be running/level/hot to check oil properly.
