Tools, Opinions on Advanced Timing Light

Looking at buying a timing light that lets me check my advance. Looked around at a few brands, would like some input from some P-Car tuners on:

-Brand/Model Used
-Features to look for (built in Tach...)
-Durability

Anything that can help narrow the field. Considering Snap-On, but as with anything by that brand, the price is steep. Are there others of similar quality with a better price?

Thanks, Gordo

I've been eyeballing the top of the line Craftsman...has a dial on it's butt end...sells for $69.95. Sent one to Evren some time ago. When his mechanic saw it, I sent another. Evren a shrewd Istanbul based biz man...this is the same mechanic who "sold" Evren a pair of 911R wheels at a VERY attractive price... Sears #0921023.

I got one from Kragen for $105 with a digital readout. It has the degrees and tach readout side by side. I like the tach feature so you can adjust idle back down exactly after setting the full advance with out having a helper look at the tach or trying to read it throught the rear window.
