Fresh Air Fan Motor
Hi guys,
The fresh air fan (the one in the dash) has quite working on my 75 911S. The switches are good as shown by current at the fan motor plug in the trunk. Can someone supply me with a part no. and some guidance as how to get to the motor and replace it? Thanks, Troy

Troy,
I just replaced mine on my 87 coupe. I think the motor is the same for your car. Part # on the one I removed is on a sticker 91 642 30 002 414. If you have a Bentley manual it is a fairly simple re and re with some prying and cursing. I bought mine used off another Pelican for $50 and have seen some on ebay at similar prices. I bought the entire motor and housing for that price. There is a cardboard panel bolted to the firewall immediately above the smugglers box that you remove. Once that is off the motor and housing are visable it is pretty straight forward. Took about 1 hour. Good Luck.

Thanks jorian,
That sounds simple. If it only takes an hour, that may be the shortest project yet. Troy
