Corbeau forzas in an SC?
From searching(Dont start that)- It seems that most people are not happy with the brackets for the forzas in the SC's. Can they be bolted right to the mounts in the car without the brackets and still get close enough to the wheel, pedals, etc..? I'm about 5'10" but , sit close to the wheel and will have to shim the front from what I've read to tilt it back. I'm not investing in SRD's and wanted something affordable but sporty. I dont want it to be any taller because the stock seats are already a bit too tall. Looks like if I get brackets I can use the cheaper brackets from corbeau because I have belts that are not mounted to the seats.
Any suggestions in the same price range I'd be glad to hear. thanks,

Save your money and buy Recaro's. I have two Forza 2's sitting in my garage, because I like them so little.
Corbeaus will not mount directly to your seat rails, because the mounting holes on them are much narrower. Don't get me wrong, they're decent seats for the money, but I really wish I would have went for Recaro's, Sparco, or another brand. |

I'm still considering recovering the seats with the rennbay kit but, I was just curious about the less expensive race seats. Hopefully I'll have the rennbay samples soon so I can see if they'll match the cork interior.
Appreciate your honesty. I was a little concerned about not being able to access the rear seats anyway.. Thanks

Hmmm, I think that Schrup might have those seats. And if I recall, he likes them. I just got a pair of replica Recaros SPA and they are great. However, you would not want to be much bigger than me and I run Marathons........

I had Forzas in my SC, and without about 1/8 to 1/4" shimming in the front, they were way too upright. I don't like a lot of rake anyway, so with the washer shims they were fine for me.
The car was only a track/street occasional driver; using them in daily wheels would be a bad idea, IMHO. ![]()

There are some seats made by somebody called KD (King Dragon) that are a Sparco knockoff I believe. Call these folks to see if they are still carrying them http://www.discoveryparts.com . Don't think they are on the website, but they had them at the track as a better cheaper alternative to a Kirkey aluminum race seat.
Brian PS, I've got some Corbeau A4s, full reclining buckets with brackets, I'll sell you if you are not going to be doing any real racing. They are not FIA approved seats, so I will be replacing them with something like a Sparco myself...

Do yourself a favour and stay away from t-frame style sport seats
Get a decent f/g shell seat...

I will get a pic of them and then you guys can tell me what they are replicas of---I was told Recaro, but they may be Sparco. They are very well made.
