The Flat-Six mobile and a few So Cal rain drops

It's been pretty ruff around the southland the last few day's.
Here's a picture of our So Cal rain drops and a Porsche crest.
I think we'll survive

It'll drown!!

Get that thing back into the dry garage where it belongs. No rain drops allowed on such a beautiful car!

I am a fan of black Porsches.

I was really trying to show how were in the grip's of winter though

H4's Hmmm, I think about it, but I've always kinda liked the sugar scoops. Maybe I'll ask Santa for some.

Bob,

Sounds like you are going to get it tonight up North.

I got the P-Car out today for a wash before the rain set in.

Yeah, it's starting to rain a bit more right now.

Let's see some Sugar Scoops.
I think there's some up in Great Northwest or is it Texas?

Well I grew up in Southern California and the rain you showed us is enough to bring down the state.

Sure it doesn't rain often, but when the wet stuff does fall from the sky everyone becomes the worst driver you've ever seen.

If five drops should ever coincidently fall in the same day the state goes on "Storm Watch 2004." This means they send every reporter in the state out to report that indeed it is *raining* and indeed cars are crashing into each other.

I never realized this was unusual until I moved to Denver. Here, we get this stuff called...snow. I think it's more slippery than water but we still manage, for the most part, to get from point A to B when it does falls from the sky.

I think it looks pretty good with those light gray filler rings blacked out. I was thinking of trying that myself instead of getting real h-4's the ones in the targa are the universal $40 H4s.

I think Bob just ran out of Meguiars Detailing spray. So he rolled the car out for a little moisture with no minerals in it to wipe it down.

Thank's
It's black metallic, But in certain light there is a bit of brown in it.
It shows up in that side shot a bit.
It's turned out to be a nice little ride between hanging out here and some of TRE's handy work.

Bob,

That car is beautiful! Can't wait to see it in person....

i had the first rain drops on my SC the past few days. I have to say that the car runs much better dry than wet. (didn't start on the first crank for the first time...might be condensation in the O2 sensor?) Also I got a pretty good idea where all the leaks (yes, plural!) in my targa top are! Let's just say I might be looking to redo my top sometime down the road.....glad that I live in SoCal so it's not that big of an issue.

I would also like to second the sugar scoops....they look great on your car! I wouldn't change them.

p.s. Bob, I also love those yellow fog lamps....i was thinking of ordering those lenses for my SC. I had a pair of yellow fog lamps on my 90 Jeep Cherokee and loved them.

also, where in ventura county are you? I go up to santa barbara very often for gigs and concerts.
