Did some searching but can't look for SC as it's a 2 letter word. Has there been much discussion about mating a G50 tranny on to an SC? If so what were the results?
Thanks in advance Eli

Try G50 in pre 1987. Try G50 in "early" car.
Yes, it has been done. Its been done in turbo cars. Its been done in V8 cars. Patrick Motorsports was one of the first to use a "short" bellhousing G50 and not have to remove torsion bars. Torsion bar tubes will be the hassle and challenge. Try searches in relation to G50 and torsion bar tubes.

Unless you REALLY love your SC its probably going to be cheaper to sell the car & buy a G50 carrera. Just think of it as getting free upgraded brakes, free upgraded engine, free upgraded suspension & free upgraded wheels in the deal.

I think the other general consensus was that you can get a 915 to be good enough with some mods that spending thousands of dollars to put in a G50 just didn't make any sense.
