Hello all,
I'm thinking about putting my 90 Carrera 2 on consignment over at Northern California Motorsports (they are in Sunnyvale). Did anybody have any experience with them? The ownership may have changed recently. Any other hints and tips are appreciated! Thanks! ST

ST,
I have not ever bought or sold anything there, but I have been inside of their place several times over the last 8 years or so. They have always been pleasant and let me wander around and drool over their inventory. A few years back when I was in the hunt, they had a 911SC that I was interested in, but just wasn't wild about the color. Their response was that color was not important, it was a nice car. Well, it was a nice car, but there are many other nice cars out there so why should I settle? This is when I would expect a good salesman to 'work the deal' a little and see if we could agree on something. His answer was his final answer and I left. Like I said though, I went back many more times and they have always been pleasant. I also think they tend to price a little on the high side at times. They are in a great location for it though, El Camino is in the heart of this valley and there are plenty of affluent people around here, I'm just not one of them ![]() Let me know if you decide to go for it. I'll drop by and see how they 'sell' your car..... Best of luck -Chris
