Blacked out Fuchs for 911?

I saw a car for sale recently here on PP that had completely blacked out wheels. I thought it looked great but I can't remember if they were Fuchs or aftermarket. I can't find the pic anymore so I was wondering if anyone here can post pics of their blacked out Fuchs. I figure that's the cheap way to go if I want black wheels rather than buying new aftermarket wheels.

there are a couple, or at least one thread about all black fuchs. I know, I started one. Gumball Rally had a 911 with all black fuchs.

If you can then just get them anodized black, but if you can't afford that (not sure how expensive it'd be, but more than a spray can) then just paint them black.

Cost me 70 bucks per wheel to have mine powder coated. I did mine in what is called semi-gloss black, but it looks almost satin which is what I wanted. I think high gloss will, would look weird in contrast to the shine of the body color. I have seen them in full gloss and I did not like it at all.

Magnus on this board has a really nice '73 RS (clone/original?) with all black Fuchs. It looks super great!

Gloss black would look great on some Cup 1's on an earlier car, but I agree, for Fuchs satin is the way to go

There's a pic of a car with all black fuchs in the "black Porsche" thread

I powdercoated my fuchs a week or so ago at my apartment with the harbor freight powdercoating machine. It was pretty easy, although it took a while to strip all of the existing paint off. It would be really easy to powdercoat them black since you wouldnt have to tape anything. As soon as I get some free time Ill post some pics of the project.

I believe it is in So Cal, I've seen it a German Autofest in Ventura. I know it's an R-gruppe car.

The rack, flares, blacked out fuchs, and the two colored bumper make this car.

If anyone has more info about this car I would love to hear it, this car inspires me.

That looks like the Ruf mirror that was used on the Yellowbird CTR.

$70 bucks per wheel I can afford. Would you mind sharing your source with me? Who did your powder coating? Thanks for your help.

$70 per wheel, I think you can get a kit to do it yourself for $300, for the extra $20 you'd still have the stuff to do it and be able to do other things in the future. I've seen a guy do the valve cover for an old Alfa in a black krinkle finish. Turned out great.
