What kind of bushings do you have up front?

The stock rubber bushings sag, and this allows the torsion bar to rub on the I.D. of the control arm.
Some Elephant Racing poly-bronze bushings are the way to go. Otherwise, you have to replace the control arms to get new rubber, since they are vulcanized to the arms. I don't recommend the poly-graphite bushings, since they are too much work to re-grease, and will seize if not lubed periodically.

This is what 15 year old stock rubber a-arm bushings look like
![]() ![]() ![]() Although they have to wear a lot more before they'd start making noises... Polygraphite replacement bushings can squeel like a pig if they run out of grease (and even with grease they can be nasty) Parts that don't wear out still need to be invented ![]() |
