'82 SC - Want to delete heater blower assy... which new ducts to use?

'82 911SC

I'm deleting the heater blower assembly.

I want to install the turbo style left and right heater ducts that connect to the fan shroud.

Does anybody have the part numbers?

Are there any differences through the model years such as early metal vs late plastic? (I'd prefer plastic).

Thanks in advance.

Do a search for "heater backdate" and you will be justly rewarded.

I have a heater back date kit you can have for $100.00 + shipping.
Lemme know it's all like new... I'll take pic's if you would like to show you what you get.

That would be great (the pic) and I'm sure I'll take the kit.

I need one as well. Seems like someone would go in the backdate business.

l would have bought that too. There seems to be a real market for these parts and no solid vendors, what gives? l`m thinking someone could do okay with making up some glass/carbon ones.

Hi guys,

Look up any historic or vintage racing shop that converts street cars to historic or vintage race cars, and they will have all the pieces as take-offs.

That's how I got mine, and they were FREE!!!!!!!

Have fun!
