Mahle Gasburners
Can someone tell me what the original finish was on the Mahle gasburner wheels? Were they natural magnesium or painted? If not painted, were they clearcoated?

Silver painted with Wurth, as far as I know. Not sure about the clear coat - probably...

They could not have been natural magnesium, because it would corrode so rapidly. I'll bet that they were painted silver.

I had a set of 5 that I got with a 70T and they were all original and painted.
