Greetings
On Wednesday I'm scheduled to take my car in to the paint shop to have the targa roll bar painted (jet-black ofcourse) but I'd like to know how to remove the targa scripts on the side and also how difficult it is to just bring the roll bar and not the whole car into the shop, to avoid paint overspray. any help is greately appreciated. Thank you SA ![]() |

have you looked at the parts section of Pelican Parts? There are some good diagrams that should show how to do this

'83 Targa Script
My Targa script has (2) small, semi-threaded studs that stick through the targa cover and are held with lightweight nuts. I've read some are just glued on.
If yours has the studs you need to remove the Targa Cover to get them off. If you search under Targa cover removing you should come up with the process. Good luck, Gordo
