Cv Joint Stub Axle Adapters-help

I need some advise/help. I am putting a 84 915 trans in my 74 911 and just realized that the 74 911 CV won't hook up to the 84 915 trans. Does anyone know if the 84 CV will fit on the trans end of the 74 stub axle?????

'84 cv and '74 stub axle

I believe the '74 is a different size plus it is a 4 bolt stub axle where is the '84 CV is a 6 bolt CV. MGH

Thanks...I ended up finding the thread started by Cowtown in July with the same question. I spoke to Henry at Supertec Performance today and ordered the modified 930 output flanges that should do the trick. Henry makes a good arguement to stay with the early heavier duty CV's. I am installing a 3.6 in my 74 911 with the 84 915 trans.
