DIY sport muffler - Can someone repost pics?

There was an Up-Fixin article for converting a dual-in single out early sausage muffler to a dual out, center pipes sport muffler. It included the directions on changing internal baffling.

I checked the archives and the previous pictures are not linked and the 911t.org site no longer has it.

Can someone who has saved these images please repost them. I just got a new to me early muffler and have the cutting wheels and welder ready and waiting.

Thanks

There was this thread:

Carrera Muffler Gutting

and this:

Bride of Frankenmuffler

I can't find the photo however. If I do I'll post it up.

I have seen those two threads. There is a specific picture I had in mind. It showed where to cut the window in the muffler and where to open up the internal baffle. Thanks for the help.

Porsche Crest

I wonder if anyone has ever tried tapered megaphones ... 2" --> 3" with diffusers, ala RSR, 906, 908, 917 exhausts ???

Thanks, that is the one I am looking for. Time to start cutting and welding. I will document the effort with pictures to follow thediagram above. Maybe this weekend I can get it done.

I made the muffler mod on a '73 I used to own. It turned out very LOUD! What? I SAID "IT WAS LOUD!!"
