Winter Weather Protection, Corrosion Inhibitor

For those who drive in less than pristine weather/environments...

Buddy of mine who's into sailing/jetskiing introduced me to a corrosion inhibitor that he uses to keep his motor parts clean and corrosion free. Its called Boeshield T-9. It's part oil & wax and holds up well. Developed by Boeing for aircraft, the stuff is amazing.

He boats in salt water, but his engines look brand new. He sprays it on once a season, Light spray off with a hose after being out on the water and all the contaminants/salts rinses right off leaving things shiny and new.

Thinking of cleaning some of my engine parts (exterior distributor assy, lower valve covers...) and treating them to see how it does.

Looks like a great product for us winter drivers.

Anyone ever use anything similar?

Gordo
