What kind of seats did I buy?

They out of a 2003 911. Will they fit in my 78' Targa. Do I have to modify the rails. Are they power 4-6-or 8 way. I've also heard of manual front/back and recline, with some kind of power up/down? I've also checked the board on how to wire them, but any additional info is appreciated. Lastly what about the seatbelts. Will my exist belt buckle fit the new seats receivers? I don't have any alarm, but do have a seatbelt light.

Thanks

Only take a minute to unbolt and try them out. The seat belts in your car now will work - just take the side belt recievers off of those. they may sit up higher.

i'm almost positive that the boxster / 996 seat rails are wider.

Yeah, I seem to recall the seats being interchangeable through the 993, but needing adapters for the 996/986.
