My first thought was that there's no way that car has 11K kilometers on it and then I see someone on rennlist posted the same thing. Cool car though! I saw my first one up close at Concorso Italiano this summer.

My car is an 84 and compared to that thing the underside looks brand new.Now my car has spent it`s life in Texas/New Mexico but all the cars from Europe l`ve seen in mags on on the internet look like hell with corrosion galore. To see that car like that is really sad.l never thought l`d see a 959 beater

Wow. Great pics. I've never seen the details of the 959 like that. Usually just pics of clean paint and leather... Thanks!

For all those screaming "oh-my-god-i-have-to-manufacture-equal-length-headers-for-my-turbocharged-car":

This is how it looks like on 959:

935 headers are even shorter...

Princeton --> thanks for posting the pictures. awesome to see such an important part of Porsche history. Do you know whether the car will reside here in Houston and whether all us Porsche 'freaks' will be able to see it in person. Wouldn't it be awesome to see it circling TWS in company with that black CGT. How do you think it would stack up against your 993 project?

Thanks again for the post,
Jeremy

when Canapa does the conversion to these cars to meet US specs the cars pick up an amazing amout of Hp and torque. He changes the turbo configuration and software among other things, and if you think the car is fast now his conversions leave the stocker in the dust,it`s amazing

It appears the car is at Wallace Labs. They did my Z1 and the Taj's 959. I had another 959 there and it took lawyers to get it back. My experience: enought damage to make a grown man cry, IMHO. How about that Orio cookie in the ECU? And the cracked Kevlar?

How does the 959 stack up performance-wise to the current 911 lineup? Does it surpass a new 911 Turbo X50?

I agree, but didn't you do all sorts of CAD renditions of headers and made yours for the Saab equal length? The way I see it, if you can make them equal length, why not?
