need mirror removal help....

Started stripping the car down for the anticipated color change and it's been plain sailing except for the mirrors ,how do the wires come through to remove the mirrors ?? ,the only thing I can think of is to take all the terminals out of the plug so it can pull though the holes............am I missing something here ?.
thanks ,
Sam.

Sam,
not missing a thing. Stupidest design ever. There exist some special tools to remove the pins from the connector, or you throw a hissy fit and cut the whole cr*p out, and then resolder when your temper has gone down.
I am going throught hat very hell with a set of Kremer mirrors I am puting together for the 930.

Sam.
