the factory print shows something called a BHKZ unit , what is it ? it has something to do with the tach ,of which mine is not working , I have a 1969 911 T 2.0 engine and tach is dead , print shows the tach circuit as going to the intermediate unit {it was missing but I got one from walker } then to the coil and then to this BHKZ unit {mine is missing } as far as I can tell ,..,. any info ? thanks Rob

It's the CDI box (capacitive discharge unit) mounted on the left side of the engine compartment. The car won't run without it. Your tach problem is probably elsewhere. Check the lead that goes from the back of the tach to the distributor for continuity. It should be black with a purple stripe wire. Any multimeter will do.
It's probably just unhooked.
