What code was it?

.........without a year I imagine it would be tough to tell you.. Maybe they just knew it but, there are 15 different listings for codes before 1960 listed in my info.

well, the GT 356 pictured here is exactly what I want. Anyone know what year that is?

based on that german link, it looks like the code is

6206 silber-metallic 1956-1962

also I seen a 906 here in the panamericana and look like 936 VW silver
