3.2 - hot start problem?

I have seen this discussed alot more on the 3.0s, but had a simiar condition on my 3.2.

After driving a while the other day, i shut the car off and then tried to restart it after about 5-10 minutes. The starter would turn fine/normal, but the motor would not catch..as if there was no fuel being supplied. After about 4 more immediate attempts to restart it, I let the car sit for another 10 minutes, and then it started up..a little slow...idled rough for a few minutes...then cleared up. The past 2 days the car has started up fine when hot.

Is this phenomenon the begining of something I should take care of now (winter project), or just a one time hard start problem?

I has similar problem on my 88, cranking fine but enigine won't fire, replace DME and still not solve the problem, the shop found out the ECU if faulty, they said new box cost $1700. I refreshed all solder join and seem working fine more than few months so far.

You can give it a try, Good luck

Would the ECU cause both hot and cold start issues?
