A/C conversion in North Florida

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone to convert an A/C system for an 85 911 to R134 in the North Florida area? Or maybe as far as Atlanta, Birmingham, Orlando, etc.? Barring a specific recommendation, is the local dealer a good place to start?

Thanks....

Assuming you have an air breather, the local dealer is a BAD place to go. Join the local chapter of the PCA. Ask Griffiths or another vendor of the parts needed for a 911 conversion if they have experience with anyone in your area.

Air Breather? And how hard is it to find someone who will do R12? The shop I usually go to said they don't do R12 any more (it's not a Porsche shop, just a local trustworthy garage).

In florida you can't find an a/c shop? Stick with r12 otherwise you'll need to get more condenser area to work with r134.

Most honest A/C specialist shops will do it for less than $200.
