Superflow 901 Dyno
Help!
I need to put a 2.4 on a superflow 901 dyno that is configured for ford and chevy engines. Does anybody know what parts I would need and where to get them? I have access to a machine shop, can any of these parts be made? Thanks! BK |

If it is a Docking style Dyno you will need a rear mounting plate with the Porsche trans bolts for mounitng. If it is a Bell Housing
you will need a front 915 trans diff housing that you can mount to the Superflow adapter, your front Blade engine mount to mate with what ever he has for an existing mount on his Dyno. Also a drive shaft or a clutch arrangement that will work with what ever spline and lenght of his shaft. And last but not least something to hold your oil tank and a cooler in line that can be dropped down in his dyno water supply. and if it is MFI the fuel pressure regulator out of your car and even your pump. Best regards |

Thanks for the info. I was hoping to buy an off the shelf part for the actual connection to the dyno. Looks like I have to fabricate something.

Yes that is true you really cannot buy a set up although some Superflow operators have a Volkswagen (Aircooled) set up that will do the trick for the mounts, also you can encourage someone else to participate and can share some of the set up cost. Just be patient and do it like you will use it again, believe me I know how difficult this is especially in someone else's shop. You will really enjoy the experience of running the engine tes, the 901 is really a kick.
