Storing tires
A friend gave me a set of nearly new tires from his car. Unfortunately the car I will put them on will be out of commision for the next year. How should I store the tires until I'm ready to use them. They are not nor will I be able to put them on rims.

In black plastic trash bags away from heat and direct or bright sunlight.

I was told to store tires in a black plastic bag that is sealed to prevent damage from ozone. Keep them in a place where there are no temperature extremes.
